14-18 May, Abingdon Airfield Air Show. This is a Bookable only rally via MCG Group Secretary. This is a four night rally where you will see more than 70 light wing aircraft arriving and performing in the air or as static displays including the PITTs M12, (see pictures) Helicopters, Air Balloons, Classic Motorcycles and many other vehicles, a night photo shoot, Model Aircraft displays along with trade stands.
The cost of this unique rally is £35 (plus rally fee £1 per person)), which includes entry for two people sharing a van, access to the show, a barbecue, with possible music on the Sunday night at no extra expense, which is provided by the Show Organisers.
There are no charges for Children under 15 or dogs, but all animals must be kept on leads at all times and exercised in the area specified. There is additional costs for extra adults.
The site is only 9 miles from Oxford and we will have a shuttle bus available on Saturday to transport you for a small fee to the city.
With all this it is a wonder if we will have time for ride outs but we will do our best. Martin has suggested a visit to the H Cafe on the Friday.
This is an extremely outstanding offer, access will only be granted on arrival to those producing an official entry ticket.
