Rally Report: Blue Anchor Bay

Thu 4/6/21 11.00-15.45
Blue Anchor to The Valley of the Rocks.

23 bikes (sorry can’t list you all because I don’t want to miss anyone out) left Blue Anchor, heading for The Valley of the Rocks via Exmoor, 2 broke down on the way, with a couple staying to help & a couple had some fun & games on the tight bends around Lynton we spent 1 hour at the Cafe.
Big Ian & Little Ian rode off to Taunton Triumph to spend loads of money on luggage & the rest of us returned via Porlock Hill-Toll Road (£1.50) & Porlock Hill again.
17 Bikes made it back all together, 1 (Moto Guzzi) came back on a trailer with a suspected fuel pump failure (I think it was an Italian Hissy Fit 😉) & 5 came back as & when.
As this was a Big Number with various riding abilities, we will be assessing our Ride Outs in the future & offer some more gentle routes & smaller groups.
Led by Martin on the Bandit,
TEC’d by John & Pat on the Goldwing.
Didn’t take note of the mileage.
